About Us

Who We Are

Delta Insurance Surveyors and Loss Assessors LLP is a newly incorporated corporate entity specializing in Property Insurance Surveying and Loss Assessment services. We are a professionally managed partnership firm formed by the coming together of two veterans of the insurance surveying industry.

Licensed by IRDAI to undertake surveys in Fire, Marine Cargo, Engineering, Miscellaneous, and Loss of Profit (LOP) segments. With operational offices at Pune and Nagpur, we are strategically positioned to service the industrial and commercial belt across Maharashtra, with plans to progressively expand our footprint across multiple states.

Our Leadership

Founded by industry veterans Mr. Kamal Biyani and Mr. Sandeep Mashru, who collectively bring over three decades of experience each in handling a wide spectrum of insurance claims. The firm has been established with the objective of delivering high-quality, independent, and technically robust surveying solutions under one roof.

Our team comprises Engineers across disciplines, Chartered Accountants, and Insurance professionals, supported by empaneled Structural Engineers and Forensic Accountants engaged on a case-to-case basis.

Loss Assessment Surveys

Independent, fair, and technically sound surveys for insurance claims. We are empaneled with all public sector insurers and conduct surveys in compliance with policy terms and regulatory requirements.

Pre-Acceptance Inspections

Detailed inspections to assist insurers in underwriting accuracy and appropriate risk coverage through accurate risk evaluation and asset condition assessment.

Pre-Dispatch Inspections

Supervision of packing, loading, and lashing activities, particularly critical for ODC (Over Dimensional Cargo) / OWC (Over Weight Cargo) to minimize transit risks.

Comprehensive risk evaluations from an underwriting perspective, assisting insurers, reinsurers, and brokers in identifying and mitigating potential exposures across operations and storage facilities.

Mr. Kamal Biyani

Mechanical Engineer, Chartered Engineer, and Associate of Insurance Institute of India. Over 30 years of experience in complex losses, major fire claims, fraudulent claims, and liability matters. Completed Post Graduate Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods. Nearly 20,000 assignments handled.

Mr. Sandeep Mashru

Electronics Engineer, Chartered Engineer, and holds MSc in Plant & Machinery Valuation. Associate of Insurance Institute of India. Over 30 years of experience in surveying and loss assessment across various lines of business. Completed Post Graduate Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods.

Mr. Govindprasad Chandak

Veteran surveyor with over 50 years of experience, particularly renowned for handling major fire claims. Associate of the Insurance Institute of India. Continues to provide strategic guidance to the firm.

Mr. Devendra Hambarde

BE Mech | Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India and holds Diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute, London. Over 9 years of experience handling several major and complex claims.
